1) Glow In The Dark Mason Jar
You will need:
Glow sticks
Glitter
Mason jar
Knife
Googly eyes
This DIY is so simple to make and it looks so pretty in the dark, definitely one of my faves! You can use it to light up the room while you have a Halloween movie marathon or even just as a cute bed side table decoration.
1.Cut open the end of your glow stick be careful not to touch it and empty it out into the mason jar, add in your glitter
2. Close the lid TIGHTLY and then shake vigorously to spread it all over the jar
3. Glue on a pair of googly eyes onto the front of the jar and you're done!
2) Glowing Mummy Mason Jar
You will need:
Mason jar
Sheer ribbon/fabric
Googly Eyes
Tea light
Also using mason jars, this DIY can be a nice touch to your room and I think it looks so cute and festive for this time of year. To make it a bit more 'Autumn' you can use orange or maroon coloured sheer ribbon instead to wrap around the jar.
1. Coat the mason jar with some PVA glue or Modge Podge
2. Wrap the material around the mason jar it doesn't have to be neat because it's supposed to resemble a mummy
3. Add on the googly eyes
4. To finish off place your tea light inside the jar and close the lid!
3) Pumpkin Ornaments
You will need:
Baubles
Orange paint
Black paint
Green paint
Orange glitter
Glue
This time we're not using any mason jars ;p instead you can take out some of your old Christmas decorations and make them into cute little Halloween decorations.
(Make sure to wait for the paint to dry before you move onto the next step)
1. Paint the baubles orange, if your using glitter it doesn't have to completely opaque and perfect because it is going to be covered anyway
2. Paint on the face of the pumpkin with black paint
3. Paint the base of the stalk on the bauble in green
4. Once dried pat on the orange glitter on the orange painted areas, you could do this with a sponge, with the help of some glue. You can also add green glitter to the stalk too.
4) Ghost Ornaments
You will need:
Baubles
White paint
Black paint
This DIY is similar to the one above but it's just a lot more simple and takes less effort to make but
still looks just as good. You can place these little ornaments anywhere you want and they just look great.
1. Paint the baubles white, making sure it is opaque
2. In black paint draw on the face of the ghost and then all done just wait for it to dry!
That's all for today! I hope you enojoyed it and if you decided to make any of these or took inspiration from it let us know in the comments or send us a picture on Instagram; BeautyCrownsBlog
I love Halloween, probably because it's an excuse to eat WAY too much chocolate and sit in bed all day watching Disney movies. Ssshh...
